Tejas Sawmill

We have three sawmills. A Woodmizer LT 40, A Hudson/Oscar 236 and a 60 inch Chainsaw Mill. The Miser and the Oscar can cut logs up to 36" in diameter and yield planks up to 28 and 34 inches wide respectively. The chainsaw mill can cut up to 52 inches. I do custom cutting (your logs) as well as portable milling, both at 60$ an hour. Portable mill work has a 4 hour minimum and the customer needs to stage the logs where I can roll them onto the mill with a loggers cant-hook. Reasonable travel charges may apply. If metal in a log destroys or damages a blade, a variable and reasonable charge is applied. Chainsaw mill is 70$ an hour (takes 2 men).

Another shot of cypress on the LT 40. Beautiful wood and a great machine.

Oscar 236, cutting up to 36" logs. A good manual mill.
